Nominations of bucks to be evaluated in the third and final year of the project are now being sought.
The joining, which is planned to take place in March/April 2007, will be carried out using frozen semen. All costs associated with the collection, freezing, storage, and transport of the semen will be paid for by the project. Six bucks are to be used in the coming joining. One of these bucks has already been used in the first year of the project and will act as a link sire so that valid comparisons can be made .
